Privacy Policy
Last updated: 15 June 2026
This policy explains what information StackIntel collects, why we collect it, and how it's used. We've tried to keep it short and in plain English. If anything is unclear, contact us using the details at the end of this page.
Who we are
Update the contact email and legal entity details above once your company is registered.
What we collect
At this stage, StackIntel is in private beta. The information we collect depends on how you interact with the site.
- Waitlist signups: the email address you provide when joining the waitlist.
- Usage data: basic, anonymised analytics about how visitors use the site (e.g. page views, country-level location, device type) via Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or track individuals across sites.
- Account & connected platform data (once the product launches): account details you provide when signing up, and reporting data (such as revenue, impressions and performance metrics) retrieved from SSP platforms you choose to connect via API.
How we use your information
- To notify you about early access and product updates, if you've joined the waitlist.
- To provide, maintain and improve the StackIntel service.
- To generate the reports, summaries and AI-driven insights the product is built to provide.
- To respond to support requests.
- To meet legal and regulatory obligations.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your data to train AI models without your explicit consent.
Connected platform credentials
When you connect a third-party SSP account, StackIntel accesses that platform's reporting data via API using secure authentication (such as OAuth), where supported. Credentials and access tokens are encrypted at rest. We only request the level of access needed to retrieve reporting data — we do not request permissions to modify your campaigns, inventory or account settings unless a feature explicitly requires it and you've agreed to it.
You can disconnect any connected platform at any time, which revokes StackIntel's access to that account.
Legal basis for processing
Under UK GDPR, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Consent: for waitlist signups and marketing communications, which you can withdraw at any time.
- Contract: to provide the service once you become a customer.
- Legitimate interests: for basic, anonymised analytics to understand and improve the site.
Data sharing
We do not sell or rent personal data. We may share data with:
- Service providers who help us operate StackIntel (e.g. hosting, email delivery, analytics), under appropriate data processing agreements.
- Authorities, where required by law.
Data retention
Waitlist email addresses are retained until you ask us to delete them or until the beta program concludes, whichever comes first. Once the product launches, account and connected platform data is retained for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period afterwards as required for legal or operational reasons.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
- Withdraw consent at any time (e.g. unsubscribe from the waitlist).
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format.
- Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you believe your data has been mishandled.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email address above.
Cookies
StackIntel currently uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookie-free and does not track individuals across websites. If this changes — for example, if we introduce login sessions or marketing cookies — this policy will be updated and, where required, we'll ask for your consent.
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest for sensitive information such as connected platform credentials. No system is completely secure, but we work to keep risks as low as reasonably possible.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product develops. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
